National Talent and Character Summer Camp

The Eighth “National Talent and Character Summer Camp” returned in 2015 after six years of hiatus at Taichung Feng-chia University. The “Superheroes Alliance” theme promoted courage, mercy, self-control, and teamwork as its four core qualities. Personality tests were conducted to activate hidden potential of the participants. Team building activities also emphasized the importance of the four thematic attributes. A versatile amount of workshops included, guitar training, jazz drums, basketball, table tennis, art creation, culinary training, and HipHop courses. A total of two thousand teenagers attended this four-day conference, marking an unforgettable summer experience.

Children’s Ministry Conference

Special guest speaker, Seth Dahl from Bethel Church, came and shared his ministry as the Children’s Pastor. Through his personal experiences and his heart for children, he emphasized the need to see children nourished in a healthy, free, and supernatural environment. Pastor Seth’s sharing impacted those involved in children's ministries. Through his testimonies, churches in Taiwan have elevated their standards of children’s ministry and their attitudes towards young believers.

Youth Awakening Conference

Each summer, the Youth Awakening Conference serves to equip and to build up young adults and teenagers. This past conference, we were able to invite prominent pastors including Pastor Philip Mantofa, Doctor Lian, Pastor Timothy, Pastor Ian, Pastor Peter. These speakers spoke on evangelism, crusades, reaching the lost, and other thematic workshops. Students chose electives based on their interests and needs. Practical application of what was taught were also implemented, so that students experienced evangelism in the streets! Through the outpouring of the Spirit, students were ignited with passion and hope in their lives!

Through serving the youth, I found that “relationships” were a struggle amongst the younger populations. Having a workshop that emphasized the benefits and blessings of “relationships”, including marriage, family, and interpersonal relationships (including that of a pastor and disciple), reminded the youth, and myself of God’s original purposes for relationships - experience of His love and intimacy.

Harvest 100 Campus Movement believes that “Winning Today’s Younger Generation is Winning the Future of Taiwan,” and has committed in promoting campus gospel movement, equipping and training youth leaders. Since holding “Harvest 100 Leadership School,” it has been held 52 times so far, with 11,255 attendees, where 2,019 of them gave their lives to Jesus. Since 2011, we started the “Harvest 100 New Moral Movement,” where we gathered students from various campuses, Christian teachers, and church pastors and formed regional campus teams, where actual action is then taken to bring Kingdom Culture into the campus by launching a series of new moral movement, such as “Christians, Come on Over,” “Teacher, I Support You,” and “I Don’t Cheat.” A total of 214 colleges and institutions joined, 102 churches participated, and over 3,500 pastors, students, and teachers were involved in the movement. We have even gained the support and approval of many campus teaching and administrative staff.

Shinjuku
In 2015, Asia for JESUS sends out two missions teams to host Japan for JESUS conference to prepare our brothers and sisters in Japan for evangelizing, train their skills in sharing the gospel, and go on to street crusade. Not only did they lead many passers-by to follow Jesus, even a deaf child was healed in the process. According to our past experience serving in Japan, the brothers and sisters were relatively calm, and the atmosphere during gatherings and worship times is much more serene. However, things were different this year. People opened up themselves to worship regardless of their age, and you can feel the change in spiritual atmosphere so obviously!

I used to think it’s really hard to share the gospel with Japanese people, but we were able to host street crusade, and many people stopped by and even decided to say the sinner’s prayer. Also, our brothers and sisters in Tokyo showed great passion during worship. Their openness and desire for the Holy Spirit were truly impressive, and that changed my impression of the spiritual atmosphere in Japan. --Ms. Chen
Missions Trip to Italy Date: May 12-18th

The major purpose of this trip was to serve the Chinese church in Italy. During the gathering, Pastor Ewen Chow felt Father God’s love so strongly, and led brothers and sisters to receive their identity of Sonship. The song “Thousands of Miles” describes how a child goes back to the father. With this song playing, Holy Spirit moving greatly, many people received love from Father God and was restored and renewed.
Testimonies:
Many brothers and sisters in Italy had to drive a long way to this event. They were extremely open to God, and people started to cry soon after they received the message. Maybe it’s because Italy is a Catholic country, and people don’t have much access to messages like this. People treasured what they received, and their pure faith touched my heart. --Mr. Chen
Bless China Ministry
After the Hong Kong Leadership School ended, Asia for JESUS continued to bless China through ministry work. God loves China very much, and we have seen great revival in recent years. Brothers and sisters in China have great desire for God. Asia for JESUS saw this growing demand, and hoped to follow God’s heart and host aperiodic equipping and training classes in major cities every year to build up the lives of our brothers and sisters in China. We believe that revival in China will become blessings to the world, and through the hands of our Chinese brothers and sisters, the baton for gospel will be passed all the way back to Jerusalem!

Tour in Surabaya of Indonesia Date: September 23 -28th

Purpose of this trip was to participate in the Indonesian National Youth Conference. With help and support from the previous generation, and passionate and active participation of the young, the Indonesian National Youth Conference has held more than ten crusades since initiated in 2010, and average number of participants is 6,000! In 2015, Asia for JESUS will lead a team to join, hoping that the passion and revival in Indonesia Youth Ministry can be passed on to the young people in Taiwan!

Malaysia is an Islamic country where evangelism to the Malays is forbidden by law. In 2010, local churches jointly hosted the first large crusade in modern history of Malaysia. Since then, the crusade was held three years in a row, and more than 74,409 people participated so far. In 2015, Asia for JESUS sent two missions teams to help hosting the conference and crusades. However, local radical Islam groups gathered outside the venue to protest. The incident was reported on national news in Malaysia, and as a result, media exposure of the gathering increased unexpectedly. Although there was change in venue, the event ended smoothly, and we could see that God reigned over us during the process.
New Zealand Missions Trip Date: October 23-25th
Co-laboring with Bread of Life Global Apostolic Network, this is the first time that Asia for JESUS team set our foot in the Oceania. Theme of this conference we held in New Zealand was “Wisdom in All Prosperity: Financial Practices After God’s Heart.” Senior Pastor Chun-Mao Liu of ShihLin Bread of Life, and Pastor Ewen Chow, CEO of Asia for JESUS were invited to speak at the conference. Many pastors, leaders, brothers and sisters from Chinese churches in New Zealand and Australia came to participate and receive the tips for full prosperity, and becoming the vessels that is after God’s heart. And after the conference, Kingdom Culture equipping class was set up at New Zealand Bread of Life Christian Spring of Grace to further establish and bless the local church.
Los Angeles Missions Trip Date: June 18-21th

Since 2012, Asia for JESUS has been hosting Youth Revival Conference and US Kingdom Culture Conference in Los Angeles to link and serve local Chinese churches. In the past, there was never any large-scale connection between church leaders in North America. But through these conferences, local Chinese churches had the opportunity to connect, and start to see Kingdom Culture carried out in every church. Therefore, in 2015, Asia for JESUS continued to travel all the way to Los Angeles to host “Kingdom Culture Equipping Class” hoping that Kingdom Culture can be planted and exercised in Chinese churches.
Worship and Prayer
Supernatural Creativity Conference
Time: December 3-4 th Location: Ling Leung Villa
At Bethel Church in the US, various activities including dance, theatrical performances, paintings and etc. happen in the communities every week. Creativity is used to touch companies, social welfare organizations, schools and any other places in many different ways. Healing Ministry also takes on different creative forms. For example, simply placing a drawing on someone’s knees or back will release healing in their body. Equipment sessions in the conference help churches to experience breakthrough, bring evangelism to another level, and help brothers and sisters to find their true identity in God’s Kingdom to do what God created them to accomplish.
Supernatural Worship School
Started in 2012, Supernatural Worship School is a series of professional worship classes designed for not only musicians and vocal singers, but also other forms of worship training, including dance and life classes. This year, Prophetic Arts have been added to the list of classes, so the form of worship is not limited to music only. Brothers and sisters can learn to express their emotions and desires for God more freely. As of 2015, 274 students from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore have graduated, and our fourth year will start in September 2015. Our faculty covers worship leaders, pastors from different churches, and famous speakers are invited to be guest lecturers to expand the students’ perspectives of the kingdom.
